As a plantaholic , I gravitate toward nearby gardens and plant life - filled natural area instead . There the blogger in me pick out over , so I snap photos and later stake my favorite scenes here . I ’ve walk and bicycle Maryland and Delaware beach townsso many timesover the decennium , it was a thrill this hebdomad to pick up a beach I ’d hear about ( fromBruce Springsteen ) but never visited .

The landscaping for this eating house on the boardwalk is fine with me but wow , the architecture ! It wasoriginally a Howard Johnson – could you tell ?

Asbury Park was never just a beach town ; it was an entertainment mecca in its prime . Signs of that focus coming back were decipherable to me even on a Monday night in October , when I heard a marvellous blues stria playing along the boardwalk .
Also on a Monday dark in October?Threebands perform at thislarge , lively locus .
Finally , the spot made famous by the Boss himself – The Stone Pony . It ’s opened all wintertime on weekend .
