I visitedLongwood Gardensdown in Pennsylvania late last week , and one of the things I was most worked up to see was , believe it or not , their new public bathrooms . When I was there late last summertime they were just completing them , and even then , during a prowler peak when I had to skirt under scaffolding bear a hard hat , they were spectacular . They ’re even better now ! This underground corridor is attached to one of the rear corner of the hothouse , and it ’s a immense bread and butter wall under a glass roof , with individual bathrooms evenly space along each side . Inside each bathroom is a domed ceiling topped with a little , round skylight that poke out of the smoke above . It ’s truly a spectacular destination , even if you do n’t feel the impulse to pee … Forgive the icky shot of the bathroom interiors . They do n’t do these loosen up room justice .
