When I do n’t have the time to brew up some wine or mead , I wish to make an infused wine to extract some homegrown or foraged flavor in a quick and dewy-eyed way . We lately had a ton ofraspberriesripening in our backyard , and themintis also going demented , so I adjudicate to make a razz mint infused wine . It turned out absolutely delightful !

Raspberry Mint Infused Wine Recipe
This recipe is very simple , and you could alter it up with whatever fruit or herbs that you like . Some good alternatives are peaches , blackberries , strawberries , plums , lemon balm , lavender , orchamomile .
I used a ironical sauvignon blanc ( Barefoot brand ) , but you’re able to use any sweet or ironical white wine based on your own personal preference .
The raspberries do add a bit of sweetness , but not as much as one would think , so keep that in mind .

First , put the boo and mint in a quart sized jar . habituate a spoonful to crush the raspberries up slightly .
Then pelt the full bottleful of wine over the raspberries and mint , then cover with a chapeau and put in a tranquil spot in your kitchen .
rent the infusion steep for 2 - 3 twenty-four hours , then strive out the hoot and mint with a fine mesh sieve and bask !

While the end issue looks a bit like kool - help , trust me when I say that it ’s perfectly delicious !
A lead of fruity sweet from the raspberry bush , and the mountain really sputter through as well .
We took this razz mint infuse wine-coloured on a recent encampment trip to the coast and it was perfect for sipping by the campfire !

Making infused vino is go to be my new thing , I can tell already !
Now , off to make some more tasty vino infusions …
