It ’s time for the 2016 wrapper up post where I ’ll divvy up the adept of Garden Therapy from this year . I have a few personal notes   to share , as well as a look back on the yr including the 25 Most Popular Garden & Craft Projects that were publish .

When I look back on 2016 , I ’m amazed at how dissimilar my life is now . Ten year ago I became earnestly ill , short and without warning ( you could read more about my personal journeyhere ) . The long recovery outgrowth is mostly behind me and I am now exercise as a writer full time . It is the good job that I could even imagine .

In February , I move around to theNorthwest Flower and Garden Showin Seattle tospeak on a stagein front of an 800 - seat auditorium .

I was uneasy that I would mess up , and think what ? I did ! My mic clip fail and so I had to detain tethered to the podium . Well , I ’m not someone who   can stand still , particularly during a 45 - instant introduction in front of a huge crowd ! I sustain discharge the mic and brushing it ,   which must have made me appear like a sitcom character in a physical comedy sketch .

Notably , Monrovia’s90th Birthday Bash in August in Dayton , Oregon , where I had a grand tour of the glasshouse , amazing food , and more gorgeous industrial plant than I could handle ! I shared much of those event on societal media and I ’ll be using what I learned to create some unexampled article this year .
