April Garden Checklist
Here in southwesterly Ontario , Canada , April requires some longanimity . As winter melts away , and fountain rain ( and snow ! ) come and go , it ’s too early to be full - on mucking about in the garden .
We can , however , clear up wintertime vegetable bed and start sow fast - growing cool crops , but other than that , it is best to let things sprout and bud and fade aside in their own sweet time .
