Happy New Year ! I ’m always glad to receive a new yr , and I ’m excited to see what 2022 has in entrepot . To that end , I ’m make my resolutions for farming projects I intend to tackle during the next 12 month .
I presuppose you could call them New Year ’s resolutions , but I opine of them more as divine guidance , both for myself and ( hopefully ) for readers . The goal of this yearly exercise is n’t to compile a list of result that must be play along at all costs . Rather , I go for to encourage proactive thinking about fun projects to reach during the coming year .
With this goal in judgement , here are five of my 2022 New Year ’s farming resolutions .
Dramatically Expand Garden Space
It ’s safe to say 2021 was a spectacular year for the farm garden . We plant more bed than ever and enjoyed fresh produce throughout the summer and well into fall . Among the highlights were tomatoes ( which stayed fertile for months ) and sweet maize ( which experience universal praise from all who tasted the freshly pick ears ) .
We plan to expand the garden even more in 2022 . We ’ve already constructed 19 newraised bed . We put down these in place during the crepuscle .

Spend More Time Taking in the Scenery
I was grateful to spend some time during the fallsitting in an Adirondack chair at the top of my orchard hill , take in the sights , sound and odor of adorable fall days . It was loosen and uplifting to slow down down a little and prize the lulu of the farm without occupy about which project to tackle next .
I desire to expend more cheery afternoons enjoying the orchard in 2022 . Stopping to count your blessings is always time well spent .
